Plasma Table Operator
Shift: 1st Shift 5:30am - 4pm Monday - Friday and Saturday as needed
Pay: $18/hour

Job Summary
The Plasma Table Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC plasma cutting equipment to produce parts according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow technical drawings and production schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting table according to job orders and blueprints.
  • Load and secure raw materials onto the machine table.
  • Monitor cutting operations to ensure accuracy, cut quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform routine machine inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
  • Adjust machine settings to optimize quality and productivity.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy using measuring tools.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Document production activities and communicate issues to supervisors as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing/industrial experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience operating a plasma table, CNC machine, or similar equipment is a plus (willing to train the right candidate).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willing to cross-train on multiple pieces of equipment such as plasma table, Mazak laser, Masak tube laser, plate breaks, plate shear and multiple saws.
  • Any experience on the above pieces of equipment is a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test (Safety-Sensitive)
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing or fabrication shop setting.
  • Exposure to noise, heat, and metal materials.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
