Our client, an industry leader in automotive manufacturing, is seeking a Plant Quality Manager to join their team. As a Plant Quality Manager, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting site in Columbus, IN
Job Title: Plant Quality Manager
Location: Columbus, Indiana
Pay Range:$120,000 - $130,000
What's the Job?
- Lead and coordinate quality management activities for the plant while managing a team of 6 quality professionals
- Standardize quality systems, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Manage relationships with OEM customers, including audits, launches, and escalation handling.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Support new product launches by ensuring quality readiness and mitigating launch risks through early planning.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive quality, including multi-site management.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA standards.
- Proven leadership skills across multiple plants or regions with excellent problem-solving abilities.
