The plant manager is responsible for managing all the manufacturing activities daily of the plant production and operations teas by providing direction for supervisors and hourly personnel.
Primary Management Responsibilities
Work with maintenance team/supervisor to support machinery and equipment procedures to ensure production is not interrupted
Oversee inventory and ensure levels are maintained to run production to plan
Communicate with VP of Ops to provide updates
Oversee safety training and meetings
Management staffing and recruiting
Scope
FL Plant Location, Dept and Budgeting Responsibilities, Direct Reports, Indirect Reports
Physical to include Sitting, standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, and moving objects up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in various working conditions (heat, ac, rain, cold, etc)
Required Education/Experience
Supervisory experience in manufacturing environment in an industrial environment
Desired Certifications
* Lean Six Sigma (preferred)
