R23 Law APC, a cutting-edge plaintiff side consumer protection and financial litigation boutique, is looking for a California-barred attorney — especially those with background in plaintiff volume practice (i.e. consumer finance, employment, PI).
- Federal court consumer finance (FCRA) and previous sales (close settlements) experience is highly welcomed.

You'll work closely with and receive mentorship from experienced attorneys, many of whom have backgrounds at top-tier biglaw firms.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage your own docket of cases with an results driven approach
- Take ownership of written discovery and dispositive motions (drafting, responding, reviewing) under direction from our Director of Litigation
- Drafting of complaints and management of filings along with our paralegal/admin team
- Management of calendaring and deadlines,
- as many court appearances and depositions as you'd like
- Participate in client meetings, litigation strategy sessions, and court prep
- achieve results through settlement negotiations and mediations
- Engage with meaningful consumer justice work in finance, credit reporting, fraud, and mutli-plaintiff complex litigations (class actions & mass arbitrations)
What We’re Looking For:
- Barred in California
- Experience or interest in plaintiff side litigation - background in employment, PI & insurance defense welcome
- 2–6 years of litigation experience, ideally federal court experience
- Consumer finance background especially welcomed (FCRA, Rosenthal, CITA)
- Attention to detail, docket management, and ability to manage deadlines
- Discovery-savvy: you know your RFPs from your RFAs and how to make objections stick
- Experience with motion practice and legal research
- Comfortable working remotely or in a hybrid setup
Compensation & Benefits - ($150-400k TC)
