Position Overview
Placement Agent Analysts support capital raising efforts by assisting fund managers and placement teams in identifying, managing, and communicating with potential investors. The role combines investor relationship management, financial analysis, and deal execution to ensure successful fundraising campaigns.
These roles often involve close collaboration with fund principals, investor relations teams, legal and compliance professionals, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing marketing and fundraising materials, including pitch decks, offering memoranda, and data room content
Support investor outreach and communications to drive capital commitments
Maintain tracking of investor engagement, commitments, and subscription documentation
Conduct market research on potential investors, industry trends, and competitor fundraising activity
Coordinate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
Build and maintain investor databases, dashboards, and reporting tools
Prepare internal reports and updates for senior management on fundraising progress
Identify opportunities to improve fundraising processes and investor engagement strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
