Piping Engineer

A multinational company with a facility in the Wixom/Novi area is currently seeking a Piping Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with its growing team. This is an exciting role for Mechanical Engineers with piping design and engineering experience who are looking to join a company that offers technologically challenging projects and strong career growth potential.

Local candidates are preferred; however, relocation assistance may be available for well-qualified applicants.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $115,000 annually, based on experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of current compensation. We offer excellent benefits, including medical, dental, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical Engineering preferred; similar degrees considered)
• 3–5 years of experience in piping, combustion, or atmosphere systems
• Experience designing and developing piping and combustion systems
• Proficiency with schematics, BOMs, and technical drawings (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
• Ability to perform flow and heat transfer calculations
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and site visits
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (no H-1 or OPT visas; Canadian citizens/TN Visa eligible applicants welcome)
• Ability to complete standard pre-hire checks, including background, drug screen, and reference verification
