Pipeline Rehabilitation Foreman - Underground Utilities Construction

Projects are throughout PA, WV, VA, & MD (Many current projects in Central PA- Somerset region)

-Must be able to travel and stay overnight. Travel is typically during the week only.

Our Client, a well-established underground utility construction company, is seeking an experienced Pipeline Rehabilitation Foreman to join their team. This position is responsible for the overall leadership of all projects including monitoring the overall quality of work and safety performance.

Qualified candidates will thoroughly understand the construction industry, contract documents, plans and specifications and have excellent communication and team building skills.

Requirements:

  • 3 + years of mainline or lateral pipe rehabilitation experience
  • Minimum of 2 years leading a pipe rehab/lining crew
  • Proven leadership skills along with the ability to train and motivate a productive and safe team
  • Strong communication, listening, and organizations skills
  • OSHA training preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license- MVR will be reviewed
  • CDL driver’s license a plus. Must be willing to get a CDL
  • Willing to travel and be flexible with schedule

Foreman Responsibilities:

  • Safely install mainline or lateral rehabilitation systems
  • Experience setting up lane closures in all types of highways
  • Lead and mentor job site personnel
  • Prioritize safety by maintaining a safe work environment for all employees and subcontractors while complying with all OSHA and environmental safety standards
  • Monitor all job site activity throughout the day, coordinating and balancing activity to ensure that the daily plan is achieved, making adjustments in assignment as necessary for the master plan, schedule and budget is adhered to.

Overview of Schedule and Compensation:

  • Hourly wage rate based on experience level (most projects are at Prevailing Wage rate)
  • Typically, Monday - Thursday– some home daily projects other projects require travel

· Projects meet at construction site Monday - Thursday.

Overtime and 5+ days required at times.Must work overtime hours when required
