Requirements (Must Have):
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on pipe fitting experience (required)
- This is not an entry-level position; candidates with less experience will not be considered
- Proven experience with process piping systems
- Ability to cut, prep, and fit your own material as required
- Ability to read and interpret piping drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Job Overview:
HireCall is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter for a well-established shop environment. Due to the wide variety of process piping that comes through the shop, this role requires a solid background in pipe fitting.
The majority of work includes Meter Tube Piping (Gas Measurement Piping), Pig Launchers/Receivers, and Non-Code Vessels. If you’ve built process piping before, you understand what this position entails.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, prep, and fit piping material accurately and efficiently
- Perform layout and fit-up for various types of process piping
- Maintain quality and safety standards in the shop
- Be flexible and assist with material prep when needed
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Welding experience (TIG and/or MIG/Flux-Core)
- If welding skills are claimed, a weld test will be required
- Welding is not required for this position
