Piano Faculty, School of Music

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of the School of Music, music faculty are professional educators committed to helping students discover music and progress on their desired instrument. 

We are currently seeking musician-educators to join our Piano faculty.

Job Responsibilities Include

• Teach private and/or group classes for children between ages 5 and 17, as well as adult students.
• Monday and Tuesday availability preferred.

Experience, Education, & Skills Desired

• Minimum Requirement: Master’s Degree with Piano as the major.

Work Environment & Requirements

• Passionate about teaching and creating warm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environments. 
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, including group classes.
• Prompt and professional communication with students and administration.
• Classical, Musical Theater, and Pop are preferred genres.

Work Schedule and Environment

This is a part-time role. Between 4 – 16 hours of work per week based on our school calendar. Summer lessons and classes might be available.

Per Diem Compensation

$56/hour for private lessons

$62/hour for group lessons
