The position offers a steady schedule and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing care across all age groups. Schedule and Coverage Start Date : ASAP, as soon as credentialed Coverage : Scheduled shifts with no on-call requirement Shift Details : Day shifts, 8 hours each, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch Contract Length : 3 months, with the possibility of extension Weekly Schedule : Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Work Details Practice Setting : Outpatient ambulatory setting Support Staff : Dedicated medical assistant for each provider Receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians Onsite pediatrician and healthcare administrator for support Amount of Coverage Needed : Full-time, 40 hours per week Patients Per Day : Up to 21 patients; the number may vary based on cancellations, but the environment is typically high-volume and fast-paced Patient Population : Newborns to geriatrics; the provider should be comfortable working with all age groups EMR System : EPIC Skills Required : Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision after an initial one-week orientation Expected to begin patient care by day 3 of the assignment Job Requirements Board Certification : Must be Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Pediatrics License : Active Washington state license required; non-licensed candidates will not be considered DEA : Active Washington DEA required Certifications : Specific certifications, such as BLS and ACLS, may be required and will be discussed during the credentialing process Minimum Experience : Must have a clean background with no malpractice history and experience with the EPIC EMR system This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to work in a supportive and diverse environment near Mineral, WA.
