Join Our Team as a Laboratory Assistant and Make a Vital Impact in Clinical Laboratory Services! Are you passionate about healthcare and precision lab work? We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to support our state-of-the-art clinical laboratory. This crucial role involves working closely with patients and medical professionals to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection and processing. Your expertise will contribute directly to patient care and diagnostic accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Collect blood specimens and assist with laboratory procedures. Ensure consistency and efficiency by moving swiftly between patients, collecting at least 10 specimens per hour. Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Support laboratory operations to facilitate timely diagnostics. Required Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably within a hospital environment. Phlebotomy certification and experience are mandatory. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting. Strong attention to detail and excellent patient interaction skills. Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in a hospital laboratory. Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in phlebotomy or laboratory techniques preferred. Proven track record in specimen collection and hospital lab operations. Other Requirements: Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, for a 13-week assignment. No local candidates within 50 miles of the job site. Ability to work overnight shifts and handle a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
