We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join a dynamic healthcare team near Aredale, Iowa, for a rewarding locum tenens role. • Location: Near Aredale, Iowa

• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Shift Schedule: Flexible 12-hour shifts (Day: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Night: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Coverage: Scheduled shifts with optional on-call duties
• Patient Load: 71 patients per day on average
• Work Environment: Acute care hospital with advanced trauma capabilities (Level 3)

• Work Schedule:
  • Up to 30 shifts per month
  • Both day and night shifts available
  • Holidays observed: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
• Team Support: Robust 30-hour advanced practice provider (APP) coverage per shift
• Patient Demographics: Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Board Certification: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABPS accepted)
• Licensure: Iowa license required or IMLC participation
• Certifications:
  • Required: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (or APLS), MRT for adult and child abuse cases
  • DEA License: Required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency medicine
• Charting and EMR: Familiarity with Cerner EMR system

• Hospital Size: 366 beds
• Credentialing Timeframe: Up to 90 days
