We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full time, permanent Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Permanent Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting physical exams, interpreting lab tests, and counseling patients on preventive care measures. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Physician Assistant who is looking to take on a rewarding and challenging role with a growing practice.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patients' health issues.
2. Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and interpret medical history.
3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, EKGs, and lab work.
4. Prescribe medications within the scope of practice and counsel patients about side effects.
5. Develop and implement patient management plans and follow up on treatment progress.
6. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on preventive health measures and chronic disease management.
7. Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with the latest medical advancements and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant.
2. Current and unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant license.
3. Bachelor's degree in Health Science or related field. A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies is preferred.
4. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
5. At least 1 year of experience in an ENT environment.
6. Proven experience in patient evaluation and diagnosis.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
10. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
11. Strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a compassionate and respectful manner.
