We are seeking a motivated and compassionate full time Physician Assistant to join our incredible team.

Position Overview

The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions.

This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients while practicing evidence-based medicine in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient primary care services including:

  • Comprehensive history and physical examinations

  • Diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses

  • Chronic disease management including hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular risk factors

  • Preventive care and health screenings

  • Ordering and interpretation of laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging

Clinical duties include:

  • Developing treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians

  • Prescribing medications and managing medication regimens

  • Providing patient education and lifestyle counseling

  • Coordinating referrals to specialists when appropriate

  • Accurate documentation in the electronic medical record

Additional responsibilities:

  • Participate in telehealth visits when appropriate

  • Maintain accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding for clinical encounters

  • Communicate effectively with patients and the clinical team

Qualifications

Required

  • Active California Physician Assistant license

  • NCCPA certification

  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinical experience preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a diverse patient population

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Preferred

  • Experience in primary care or internal medicine

  • Spanish speaking ability

  • Familiarity with NextGen EMR (training available)
