What You Bring to the Table:

We are seeking a certified Physician Assistant with 1-3+ years of clinical experience, ideally in ophthalmology, optometry, or a related surgical/medical specialty, strong clinical assessment skills, and a passion for eye care. You will work closely with the ophthalmologist to provide high-quality patient care, perform diagnostic evaluations, assist in minor procedures, manage follow-up visits, and contribute to efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced, patient-centered practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient histories, ocular examinations, and diagnostic testing (including visual acuity, tonometry, slit-lamp exams, fundus photography, and OCT interpretation under physician supervision)

  • Assist in minor in-office procedures (e.g., laser treatments, intravitreal injections, foreign body removal, and eyelid lesion excisions)
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract, glaucoma, retina, and refractive surgery patients, including education, wound checks, and medication management
  • Manage follow-up visits, triage urgent patient concerns, and coordinate referrals to subspecialists when needed

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated ophthalmology team where your clinical skills will directly enhance patient outcomes and vision care. You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative practice that values professional growth, work-life balance, and making a lasting impact on patients eye health and quality of life.
