Minimum Requirements

  • Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Alabama state PT license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred. This role supports an outpatient ortho patient population.
  • Productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week, typically 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
  • Candidate types accepted: first-time travelers and new graduates are acceptable. A PTA will not be accepted.
  • Float requirement: no floating to other clinics.
  • Client requires director approval before any overtime hours are worked. The assignment guarantees 36 hours with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
