Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active CA Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • Minimum one year of Home Health experience required.
  • Experience prioritizing start-of-care visits and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants.
  • Familiarity with home health documentation timelines, including clinical notes due within 48 hours of visit.
  • Experience with or ability to use Kinnser documentation system preferred.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Ability to maintain timely communication with supervisor and office and be generally responsive during normal business hours.
  • Must be able to travel within and expand territory as needed, covering Solano County, CA and surrounding areas.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home health visits. Mileage and parking/toll reimbursement provided per client policy.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital (Home Health role servicing county territory).
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Saturday through Wednesday.
  • Required priorities: start-of-care visits, next-day mandatory reporting of start-of-care visits.
  • Supervisory responsibility: supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
  • Documentation: clinical notes and other documentation due within 48 hours of visit.
  • Training: three full days (one in-house, two in the field).
  • Documentation System: Kinnser.
  • Equipment issued: iPad and Verizon One Talk.
  • Reimbursement: mileage reimbursed and parking/toll reimbursement paid per client policy.
  • Company vehicle option available per client policy.
