Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy required, including evaluation and development of individualized treatment plans.
  • Experience with 60-minute initial evaluations and combined eval/treatment sessions preferred.
  • Competence in timely, accurate medical record documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry using electronic documentation systems.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and provide student supervision as assigned preferred.
  • Adherence to state practice act, professional codes of conduct, and completion of required continuing education.
