Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Alabama Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Experience providing skilled therapy services to older adults, including fall risk assessment, transfers, and ADL training preferred.
  • Ability to document using electronic medical records systems preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift pattern: M-F with 1 weekend rotation per month.
  • Shift name: Other.
  • Assignment length: 13 week assignment (client will consider 13 or 26 weeks).
