Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with restorative nursing programs, transfers and gait training, and ADL-focused interventions preferred.
- Ability to document thoroughly in electronic medical records systems. Specific EMR experience preferred but not required.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift Hours: 08:00–16:30.
- Days of Week: Sunday through Saturday (VMS work days indicate coverage seven days per week; verify required schedule with recruiter).
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks.
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Meal Break: 30 minutes.
- May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
