Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs, transfers and gait training, and ADL-focused interventions preferred.
• Ability to document thoroughly in electronic medical records systems. Specific EMR experience preferred but not required.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift Hours: 08:00–16:30.
• Days of Week: Sunday through Saturday (VMS work days indicate coverage seven days per week; verify required schedule with recruiter).
• Assignment Length: 14 weeks.
• Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week.
• Meal Break: 30 minutes.
• May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
