Physical Therapist - Jeffersonville Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our in-house therapy team! New-Grad Friendly! Part-Time and PRN options also available!

The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance their overall physical function.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs and goals.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility policies.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Proficiency in providing patient care with a focus on rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
