Pay Range: $52.00-$53.00 Per HR
Description:
• This position involves providing physical therapy services to students in a classroom setting as per their Individual Educational Plans.
• The role requires a professional to work on a contract basis in Philadelphia, PA, with a weekday schedule.
• The therapist will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of students and staff while following school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• Ability to provide physical therapy in a classroom setting.
• Familiarity with creating and executing Individual Educational Plans.
• Capable of maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Proficient in instructing teachers, aides, and families in therapy programs.
• Participation in meetings and evaluations as needed.
• Ability to design and maintain therapy equipment.
• Compliance with ethical standards and policies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in physical therapy or equivalent certification.
• Accreditation by APTA and current licensure in Pennsylvania required.
• New graduates considered pending licensure exam results.
• Knowledge of current trends and interventions in physical therapy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
