Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Orthopedics

Location:Burleson, TX
Shift: Day Shift (Full-Time Hours)
Duration: 13 Weeks (or as applicable)
Hours: 36 Hours Guaranteed (up to 40 hours/week)

Job Summary:

Seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. The role focuses on supporting physical therapists in delivering rehabilitation services to patients with orthopedic and post-operative conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising therapist
• Educate patients on exercises, recovery plans, and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment
• Support clinic operations and patient flow

Patient Population:

• Orthopedic conditions
• Post-operative rehabilitation
• Occasional pelvic health cases

Productivity Expectations:

• Approximately 60 patient visits per week
• Average 12–14 patients per day
• Double-booking of follow-up visits may be required

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active PTA license (state-specific as applicable)
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Outpatient experience preferred
• Experience with orthopedic and post-operative cases
