The Opportunity
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our orthopedic outpatient sites in Springfield and Northampton, MA. This role is designed for a clinician who thrives in a collaborative, physician-aligned setting and enjoys delivering hands-on therapeutic care.
What You’ll Do
Therapeutic Care: Deliver hands-on treatments including therapeutic exercise and neuromuscular re-education under PT supervision.
Specialized Rehab: Support recovery for post-operative patients, sports injuries, and chronic orthopedic conditions.
Patient Empowerment: Educate patients on home exercise programs and safe functional progression.
Team Synergy: Communicate daily with Physical Therapists and orthopedic providers to ensure seamless patient care.
Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of daily treatments in our EMR.
What You Bring
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
Licensure: Active (or eligible) Massachusetts PTA license.
Expertise: Strong clinical reasoning and organization; orthopedic or outpatient experience is preferred, but we are open to mentoring high-potential candidates.
Communication: A collaborative spirit and a passion for helping the community return to their active lifestyles.
