Job Details
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support school-based physical therapy services for children in an early learning environment. This role works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help students improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Provide one-on-one and group therapy services to pediatric students
Assist with documenting student progress and maintaining accurate therapy records
Collaborate with PTs, educators, and related service providers
Support students with gross motor development, mobility, and functional skills
Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging therapy environment
