Location: Plantation, FL
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $65K to $75K a year depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour

Job Summary

A growing clinic in Plantation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time role. The PTA works directly with patients during treatment sessions, helping them complete exercises, mobility work, and other therapy activities outlined by the Physical Therapist. The role plays a key part in helping patients stay on track with recovery while keeping treatments consistent, efficient, and well-documented.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with exercise programs, stretching, strengthening, and mobility work
• Observe patient performance and note progress or setbacks
• Complete accurate daily treatment documentation
• Reinforce home exercise instructions as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Maintain treatment spaces, therapy tools, and equipment
• Coordinate with front office and clinical staff as needed
• Support a professional and organized patient experience from check-in to completion of visit

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Current CPR certification
• Previous outpatient or orthopedic experience preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans carefully and work well with a clinical team
