Physical Therapist Assistant-Bronx-NY

A premier Physical Therapy chain committed to patient-centered care is seeking a full-time, licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Bronx, New York. In this role, you will deliver high-quality outpatient care under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists while helping patients achieve meaningful functional outcomes. In this dynamic role, you will:

• Implement PT-directed treatment plans and provide hands-on patient care,
• Monitor patient response, document progress, and communicate updates to PTs,
• Educate patients on exercises, posture, safety, and injury prevention, and
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency while supporting daily clinical flow.

To be successful in this position, you must possess:

• Active New York State PTA License (required),
• Spanish speaker
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics or physical therapy setting preferred,
• Strong communication, time-management, and clinical judgment skills, and
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday with at least 2 Saturdays per month

Compensation:

Full-time: $30 $32 per hour (based on experience)

Benefits Overview (Full-Time):

• Paid Time Off: 40 hours vacation + 40 hours sick leave annually (prorated from start date),
• Example: Mid-year hires receive prorated PTO accordingly, and
• 401(k) eligibility after 3 months of employment.
