Job description
The Physical Security Operations Manager will have influence working in a highly complex and collaborative culture and environment, creating opportunity for strategic execution and operation within the security programs, other staff groups and lines of business. He or she will work with the Senior Director, Physical Security Operations to develop and provide comprehensive security management solutions to ensure the security and safety of Groupe assets and associates.
The Physical Security Operations Manager will engage in projects of high technical complexity and high risk profile and is viewed as an authority in his or her area of expertise. He or she will interact with internal and external stakeholders such as property managers, local and federal law enforcement and external security experts. The Manager consults with various stakeholders on security risks and implements solutions as necessary.
- Design, develop, and implement physical security operations for all Publicis North American facilities including post orders, standards, policies and procedures
- Ensures functionality & operational capacities of security systems (CCTV, Access Control / Intrusion Alarms Systems, phone systems, AED and First Aid kits, etc.) Stays abreast of security trends and best practices to continuously improve
- Responsible for managing and maintaining employee identification card system. Serves as the point of contact for all employee and contractor access card issues
- Initiate preliminary investigations and write incident reports on all internal security, safety, and criminal issues, and complete proper documentation
- Perform Security Risk and Threat Assessments and conduct physical security and safety audits at Publicis North American Facilities
- Collect, maintain / manage documentation and provide all requested information for regulatory compliance. This includes audits (SSAE16, SOX, etc.) and corporate internal compliance (Door Owner Policy, Clean Desk Audits, Corp Physical Security Verification Audits, etc.)
- Responsible for identifying areas of program improvement, expansions of service, customer service improvements and other evolutionary changes
- Maintain relationships with Federal, State and Local law enforcement and other government agencies in support of private-public partnership initiatives
- Manage multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
- Assess existing training and implement new safety training procedures and processes for all Epsilon Associates
- Financial & business planning to support growth and stay future focused
- Drive performance management thru SLA’s & metrics, report inconsistencies and workaround to reduce business impact & security risk
- Directs safety communications, emergency evacuation procedures, tests and drills at all office locations
- Provide security and safety consultation for associates at all office locations
Job requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in safety and security management, law enforcement and/or military with an emphasis in Safety & Security program development and/or management
- Demonstrated understanding of best practices in physical security strategies, principles, standards, policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and creative team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
- Ability to interact with individuals from all levels within the organization. Additionally, be able to interface and work with city emergency personnel, vendors, visitors, and auditors.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks, projects, and incidents at one time.
- Intermediate PC experience, including MS Office Suite as well as other security related software programs.
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Currently possess, or pursuing security, risk or life safety certification including CPP, PSP or CISSP
