About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side web application development, a solid understanding of back-end technologies, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain robust PHP applications using frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.

  • Maintain documentation for code and processes.

  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.

  • Proficiency in PHP 7+ and experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and database design.

  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD tools is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application development.

  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.

  • Previous experience in a U.S.-based or international software team.
