IDR is seeking a PHP Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Coppell, Texas. This role involves developing and supporting backend systems and APIs for a digital guest experience platform within the hospitality industry. The company specializes in loyalty and rewards systems for restaurant brands, focusing on backend API development and database optimization.
Position Overview for the PHP Developer:
- Work on the backend processes and APIs supporting a loyalty CRM system for restaurant brands.
- Focus on delivering features primarily in the backend using PHP and Symfony framework.
- Support and optimize MySQL databases, including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Involve in deploying and troubleshooting AWS serverless components like Lambda and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance and maintain the loyalty and rewards platform.
Requirements for the PHP Developer:
- 5+ years of backend PHP experience building and supporting production APIs/services.
- Strong Symfony (MVC) experience delivering real features in Symfony.
- Expert MySQL / SQL skills: writing optimized queries and solving complex data issues in production.
- Deep database performance tuning: execution plan analysis, index strategy, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on AWS serverless deployments including Lambda, troubleshooting, and modifying deployments using CloudFormation.
