At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary rangeis $18.07 (Min) — $26.64hourly (Max), excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, andinternal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the rangeto support future salary growth.
As thePhlebotomist Support Services Technician, you will be asked to ensurethe highest level of service to all required stations for the procurement of blood samples. Asked to perform limited laboratory procedures in planting, expediting and reference lab station. Answers directed phone calls for orders, patient results and add-on tests, registers, and processed specimens. Promotes a positive friendly image to patients, visitors and other hospital personnel. Obtains and enters into the computer system (Hospital and Laboratory), via CRT all pertinent personal, financial, and insurance data concerning patients, to accurately and expeditiously process inpatient and outpatient registrationsand specimens and to initiate the claims process as necessary.
Qualified candidates must possess certification:
- Certification from an accredited agency for Phlebotomy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- New grads are welcome. However, phlebotomy experience, certificates and computer skills are preferred.
- Must be flexible to rotate all shifts as needed
