Schedule / Time Zone:
  • Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility required for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
    Pay Rate:$19.00 – $23.00 per hour

Job Overview
The Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization to patients and is responsible for accurate blood specimen collection and processing. This role requires strong technical phlebotomy skills, excellent patient interaction, and strict adherence to safety, quality, and confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties
  • Explain procedures clearly while creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public

Required Skills & Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to error-free work
  • Keyboarding and data entry proficiency
  • Active State of Nevada Lab Assistant License (Required)
Preferred
  • 1+ year of phlebotomy experience
  • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training
  • Phlebotomy certification
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment
