Onsite – Patient Service Center / In-Office Phlebotomy locations
Contract Duration: 3 months
Start: As Soon As Possible
Pay Rate: $19.85 – $21.80/hour
Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Alternate Saturdays 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
May include weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs
Required to support multiple Patient Service Center and in-office locations as needed
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
- Draw blood specimens skillfully and safely, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing
- Verify patient demographics, initials, and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct labeling
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation
- Promote a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and strong customer focus
- Communicate openly with patients, peers, and supervisors
- Travel between assigned locations and adapt to changing schedules as business needs dictate
- Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
- Excellent phlebotomy skills and patient interaction abilities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
- Sound judgment and decision-making based on established procedures
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable)
- Commitment to company policies, safety standards, and professional dress code
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA; not required in NY)
- 3+ years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections
- Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
- Customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred
- Keyboarding and data entry proficiency required
