Pay Rate: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour

About the Role
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization, supporting patients during routine health visits and important diagnostic decisions. In this role, you will collect high-quality blood samples, prepare specimens for laboratory testing, and follow established procedures to ensure safety, accuracy, and patient confidence.
You will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and a strong commitment to process excellence in all patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the Area Supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional patient-facing environment.
  • Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records and documentation.
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.

Job Requirements
Required:
  • Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent — Required
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training — Preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification — Preferred (not required in Connecticut)

Work Experience
Required:
  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience
  • Keyboarding and data entry skills
Preferred:
  • 1+ year of phlebotomy experience
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment
