Contract Details
Contract Duration: Approximately 2 months
Start: As Soon As Possible
Pay Rate: $17.00 – $21.00/hr
Shift / Hours:
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Alternating Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Job Overview
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing with skill and precision.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Ensure a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment at all times.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors with a strong focus on confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Keyboarding and data entry proficiency.
Preferred Skills
• Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Additional Requirements
• New York State credential/license required.
Education & Experience
• Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
• Experience:
– Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
– One (1)+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
