    Shift: East Time - Monday through Friday 9A-5P
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of the organization to patients who visit as part of their routine healthcare or for critical health insights. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring all procedures are performed according to established practices and protocols.
This position requires direct patient interaction, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and collecting specimens in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. Successful candidates may work in a doctor’s office, a patient service center, or other clinical environments based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily activities under the direction of the area supervisor accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.
  • Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient initials and signatures post-venipuncture to confirm specimen labeling accuracy.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Support operations across patient service centers and physician offices as needed.
  • Handle multiple responsibilities effectively in a high-volume clinical environment.
Required Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Experience maintaining records and documentation.
  • Keyboard and data entry experience.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training.
  • Phlebotomy certification.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
