Contract Duration: ~2.5 months

Schedule: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17 – $21/hr

Job Summary
The Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients seeking routine testing or critical diagnostic insights. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing samples for laboratory testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR I creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence through clear communication, professionalism, and accurate specimen collection.

Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of the area supervisor, the Phlebotomist performs daily activities accurately and on time while maintaining a safe and professional environment. Responsibilities include forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, maintaining required records and documentation, and promoting a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public. This role emphasizes process excellence, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Required Skills
• Phlebotomy (pediatric, adult, and geriatric)
• Specimen collection and processing
• Patient interaction and customer service
• Accurate data entry and documentation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
• Medical assistant or paramedic training
• One (1)+ year of phlebotomy experience
• Retail or service-based customer service experience
Additional Skills
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Professional communication
• Attention to detail and compliance

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
(Certification required only in CA, NV, and WA)
• Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience
• Keyboarding and data entry experience required

Schedule Flexibility Requirement
• Availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as staffing needs require
