Role Overview
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in a healthcare setting. The role involves assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, inventory management, and distribution while ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
- Maintain medication inventory and supplies
- Deliver medications and carts to various units
- Operate and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems
- Rotate shifts and assignments as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Experience in hospital and/or retail pharmacy (chain preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active NY State Pharmacy Technician license
- PTCB certification required
