Pharmacy Technician (Certified – TX)

Location: Plano, Texas | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

• $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (W2)

• Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm; Friday 8:30am–4:00pm

Role Impact: The Pharmacy Technician supports centralized pharmacy operations to ensure patients receive accurate and timely medication fulfillment. This role directly impacts patient safety, medication adherence, and overall treatment plan compliance. Success is defined by precision in dispensing, operational efficiency, and maintaining regulatory standards within a high-volume central fill environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with fulfillment and dispensing of patient medication orders under the supervision of the Director of Operations and Team Lead

• Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and medication storage compliance

• Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and documentation of prescriptions

• Maintain patient safety standards and assist in quality control processes

• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to facilitate timely order processing and delivery

• Active Texas Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing

• Registration compliant with Texas State Board of Pharmacy requirements

• Medication dispensing and prescription fulfillment (central fill operations)

• Inventory control and pharmaceutical stock management systems

• Pharmacy workflow systems and order processing platforms

• Medication safety protocols and compliance standards

• Prescription labeling and packaging procedures

• Documentation accuracy and quality assurance processes

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time during shifts

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-volume retail or central fill pharmacy settings

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling

• Willingness to cross-train across pharmacy operational areas
