Pharmacy Technician Compensation
• The pay for this position is $18.95 per hour + $1.00 shift differential
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician Highlights
• Onsite position in Jeffersonville, IN
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• 2nd Shift Schedule:
• Monday: 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Tuesday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
• Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing under pharmacist supervision
• Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders
• Replenish medications in automated dispensing cells and open large quantities of bottles and product cases
• Maintain a clean, organized dispensing area to support safe pharmacy operations
• Assist with inventory management including stock rotation to prevent expired medications
• Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Assist with documentation and record keeping related to prescriptions and medications
• Support pharmacists in delivering safe and efficient pharmaceutical care
Requirements
• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous pharmacy experience
• Ability to lift 20–30 lbs regularly and carry 15 lbs for extended periods
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to stay on task, demonstrate accountability, and work well as part of a team
• Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Jeffersonville, IN
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a high-volume or automated pharmacy environment
• Strong inventory management and order fulfillment experience
