Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment Compensation

• The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment / Inventory Specialist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Schedule: The required availability for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend requirements

Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute prescription medications using fulfillment systems
• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting member and physician outreach
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into data systems
• Research and resolve insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns
• Escalate prescription-related questions to Pharmacists for review and guidance
• Assist with inbound and outbound calls to patients and providers

Inventory & Operations Support:

• Execute and monitor pharmacy inventory processes including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns
• Maintain accurate inventory records and on-hand quantities through cycle counts and system validation
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
• Review reports and system data to ensure inventory accuracy and proper pricing
• Manage vendor returns, damaged goods, recalls, and inter-store transfers
• Ensure all deliveries are properly received, scanned, and reconciled
• Support physical inventory preparation and auditing processes
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and inventory control standards

Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment Requirements

• Must have 1–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician registration/certification as required by state of Pennsylvania OR Must be willing to receive it by June as required by the state of PA
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED is required (Must be verifiable)
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pharmacy inventory management and fulfillment systems
• Experience resolving insurance claims and billing issues
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations, returns, and regulatory compliance
• Experience working with inventory systems and reporting tools
