Pharmacy Technician (Compounding)

A-Line Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist the pharmacist in providing safe, high-quality pharmacy services in compliance with company policies, state regulations, and USP standards.

The Compounding Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in both sterile and non-sterile environments, playing a key role in medication preparation and patient service coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Perform non-sterile compounding in accordance with USP <795> and <800> guidelines
• Assist with sterile compounding procedures (USP <797> compliance)
• Accurately complete compounding logs, calculations, and documentation
• Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain compounding equipment
• Conduct in-process quality checks and sampling for batch testing
• Maintain cleanroom and compounding area standards (cleaning, sterilization, housekeeping)
• Track, order, and manage inventory of chemicals, supplies, and consumables
• Ensure all compounds are prepared according to master formulas and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of lot numbers and expiration dates
• Support overall pharmacy operations and complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• • 1+ year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • IV Certification
  • Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or equivalent)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in sterile or non-sterile compounding labs
  • Experience compounding creams, capsules, and troches
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
