Fusco Personnel is actively seeking a Pharmacy Operations Technician to support a dynamic Clinical Pharmacy team and play a vital role in improving medication coordination and patient outcomes.
Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician or healthcare administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment? This position serves as an important bridge between patients, provider offices, and pharmacies ensuring medication-related requests are accurately communicated, documented, and resolved.
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a growing, technology-enabled healthcare setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify patient, prescriber, and medication information with provider offices and pharmacies
- Communicate medication change requests and pharmacy transfers
- Ensure follow-up to confirm requests are completed accurately and timely
- Support clinical pharmacists with coordination and administrative pharmacy tasks
- Maintain detailed documentation within internal systems
Qualifications and Experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and experience working with provider offices, pharmacies, PBMs, or health plans; Preferred
- Pharmacy Technician or healthcare administrative experience
- Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows and prescription processing
- Professional phone presence and excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working across clinical, technical, and operations teams
- Strong Excel and data entry skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Salary
$40,000-$45,000
