Location – New York, NY 10004

Job Duration : 3 + month s : High possibility of extension

Pay Range: $ 30 - $35/hr.
Shift – Morning Shift

Required:

• PTCB or ExCPT Pharmacy Technician Certification .
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Pharmacy Technician by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
• Primary Source Verification of License and Registration for Registered Pharmacy Technician from NYSED.
• Two years’ experience as a pharmacy technician in the retail pharmacy setting, preferred.

Position Overview:

• The Pharmacy Operations Technician is responsible for coordinating care between members, pharmacies, and providers to improve medication adherence for chronic medications and address access to care issues.
• Conduct telephonic outreach to members, pharmacies, and/or providers to assist in care coordination.

Required Education, Training & Professional Experience:

• Two years’ experience as a pharmacy technician in the retail pharmacy setting, preferred
• One year experience required Pharmacy dispensing experience, Sterile Processing experience, IV room experience - Preferred.
• One year of experience required.
• Pharmacy dispensing experience, Sterile Processing experience, IV room experience - Preferred.
