Pharmacist - Travel Job

We're hiring a licensed Pharmacist for a contract position in a hospital setting where you will apply clinical expertise to ensure safe medication distribution for patients with a range of medical and behavioral health needs. Minimum Requirements:

• Current Virginia Pharmacist licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharmacist degree. Pharm.D. preferred.
• Minimum three years' experience in hospital pharmacy preferred. Hospital setting experience required; no retail-only experience accepted.
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient authorization processes, managed care communications, and appeals preferred.
• Experience completing pre-certifications and re-certifications for inpatient and outpatient services preferred.
• Experience communicating with interdisciplinary teams, physicians for peer-to-peer reviews, and payers preferred.
• CPR certification preferred. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training preferred.
• May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
