Job Title: Home Delivery Pharmacist

Location: Oviedo, Florida
Job Type: Contract to Hire (Onsite)
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (overtime as needed)

Hourly Rate: $60- $70

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Home Delivery Pharmacist to join a high-volume pharmacy operation supporting OptumRx. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong retail or mail-order experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with a large team.

You will play a key role in ensuring prescription accuracy, supporting pharmacy technicians, and maintaining efficient workflow operations while delivering high-quality patient care.

Team Environment

• 40 Pharmacy Technicians

• 40 Clerks

• Onsite Leadership Team

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and check prescriptions for accuracy and compliance

• Apply strong pharmacy knowledge to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing

• Provide guidance and oversight to pharmacy technicians and clerks

• Troubleshoot and resolve prescription or workflow-related issues

• Collaborate closely with supervisors and leadership to maintain operational efficiency

• Ensure adherence to pharmacy regulations and company policies

• Support high-volume prescription processing in a home delivery setting

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Florida

• Experience in a high-volume retail or mail-order pharmacy setting

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience

• Experience guiding or mentoring pharmacy technicians
