A well-established California-based litigation firm is seeking a Personal Injury Defense Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its growing team. This role will focus on insurance defense litigation, handling a variety of complex personal injury matters including catastrophic injury, auto liability, and construction-related claims.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury defense matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Develop case strategy and work closely with clients and carriers
- Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure in complex injury matters
Practice Areas / Case Types:
- Insurance Defense
- Catastrophic Injury
- Auto Liability / Auto Claims
- Construction-Related Injury
- Product & General Liability
Qualifications:
- Active California Bar license (required)
- 5+ years of litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense / PI defense
- Strong experience with law and motion, depositions, and case management
- Ability to independently handle cases and manage deadlines
Preferred Experience:
- Background in insurance defense firms
- Experience handling high-exposure / catastrophic injury cases
- Familiarity with construction-related injury claims (a plus, not required)
