Employment Type: Full-Time 

 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM (approximate) 

  • Paid travel between locations

  • Paid 30-minute lunch during travel

  • Ongoing training (20 hours/year)

Job Description

This client's Early Intervention program supports children ages 3 to kindergarten entry with developmental delays or disabilities. As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will work under the supervision of teachers and service providers to deliver instructional, behavioral, and personal care support in classroom settings.

✅ Responsibilities

  • Assist in classroom instruction and supervision

  • Support students with feeding, toileting, and positioning

  • Monitor and document student behavior and progress

  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings

  • Implement behavior intervention plans

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA regulations

  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment

  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families

  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support

  • Demonstrate cultural competence and professionalism

  • Complete daily sign-in/out logs

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience with children preferred

  • Must use IEP Writer software

  • Required clearances (must be current):

    • PA Child Abuse Clearance

    • FBI Fingerprints

    • PA Criminal History Check

    • TB Test

    • Mandated Reporter Training

    • CPR/First Aid Certification (hands-on required)

    • Act 82 Arrest/Conviction Form

    • Completed Act 168 Form
