Personal Care Administrator 

 

This is a Full-Time position, working at Newhaven Court located in Zelienople, PA.

 

Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.

 

Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.

The Personal Care Administrator is responsible for the overall operations of two licensed personal care communities on campus.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the residents, regulatory compliance, resident, family and staff relations, financial stewardship and quality improvement.

Qualifications:

Personal Care Administrator qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in healthcare related field.

  • Personal Care Home Administrators license required.

  • Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse preferred. 

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in managing others and for management of revenue/expense performance within a long term care or health care related business environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
