Permanent Part-Time Cashier & Kitchen Support (Non-Seasonal)

Description: Join the team at 418 Burger, Highland Park s go-to spot for hand-crafted burgers and fresh-cut fries. We are a highly-rated, fast-casual neighborhood staple, and we take pride in our upbeat environment and quality food.

We are looking for a reliable, year-round team member for our evening shifts. This is not a seasonal position; we are looking for a permanent addition to our crew who wants steady work and a consistent schedule.

Schedule:

• Mondays & Wednesdays: 3:00 PM 9:00 PM (12 hours/week)
  

• Occasional flexibility for additional shifts is a plus.
  

Responsibilities: This is a "hybrid" role. You ll be the face of the restaurant at the front, but you ll also be an essential part of the back-of-house flow:

• Front of House: Greet guests, manage the Square POS accurately, and handle online/to-go orders.
  

• Kitchen Support: When things get busy, you ll jump in to support the kitchen packing orders, wrapping burgers, prepping fries, and assisting with stocking and cleaning.
  

• Teamwork: Maintain a spotless counter and communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure every order is perfect.
  

Requirements:

• Reliability is #1: We need someone who shows up on time, every time.
  

• Multitasking: You can handle a rush at the register while keeping an eye on the fry station.
  

• Attitude: Friendly, personable, and ready to help out wherever the team needs it.
  

• Experience: Previous restaurant experience or Square POS knowledge is a plus, but we ll train anyone with the right work ethic.
